Setting up a TV

1. Install Counterslate from Clover. It opens the setup page on your phone or computer.
2. On the TV, open a web browser (on a Fire TV Stick, that's the Silk browser) and go to counterslate.onrender.com/display. The TV shows a 6-letter code.
3. On the setup page, type the code, give the TV a name like "Front counter", and pick the board it should show.

To make a board, pick a Clover category (for example Specials). Untick anything you don't want on the TV, and add a board name for items whose Clover name doesn't read well on a screen.

Common questions

An item isn't on the board

Check three things: the item is in the Clover category the board uses, it's marked available in Clover, and it's still ticked on the board in the setup page.

A price is wrong on the board

The board shows Clover's price. Change it in Clover and the board follows within seconds.

The TV shows a code instead of my menu

The TV isn't paired yet, or was removed on the setup page. Type the code shown on the TV into the setup page again.

The TV was turned off

Turn it on, open the browser to the display page again (a bookmark helps), and your board comes back. The pairing is remembered.
